Our unbreakable bonds mean we will be as one forever and face the world together.” This seemingly simple but powerfully profound quote by anonymous is something that manifestly motivated me to essay this painting in a bid to articulate my feelings about true understanding, deep affection and unflinching support.
I have attempted to make this serene, soothing, and simple painting using the medium of charcoal on paper and sundry pencils; the painting evokes a remarkable sense of stoical support (as depicted by the strong and solemn clench of the hands), firm fraternity (as exhibited by the clear veins one of the two hands) and astonishing affection (as demonstrated by the soft yet stern grip of the hands); I have endeavoured to do the same with complete finesse as the painting seems to manifest precision, perfection, and purity.
With the passage of time, I have learned to appreciate, value, and fathom the true depth of human relationships which is not only one of the most prominent aspects of human life, but it also makes the world go round, as it were. It is indeed beyond doubt that love knows no bounds and those who have genuine affection and feelings stand by each other no matter how abysmal or appealing the situation is.
